Dr. Jonathan Wan was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and attended the University of British Columbia for his undergraduate work.  He then continued on to Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, to complete his doctorate in chiropractic.  After graduation he practiced for three years in British Columbia which included being the team doctor for an AA hockey team.  Along with athletes Dr. Wan has done much work with pregnant women and children and uses a "whole person" approach to wellness.  Dr. Wan moved to Washington State in 2008 and worked in Tukwila WA for two years in a busy, fast paced clinic.  Looking for a different experience and a more intimate relationship with his patients Dr. Wan is now in Yelm WA to be here at Yelm Chiropractic and Wellness Center.  Dr. Wan is board certified in Physical Therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  Dr. Wan also practices and is certified in Active Release Technique (ART). He utilizes deep muscular therapy and rehabilitation along with his spinal adjustments. Dr. Wan has been utilizing his skills and experience in freeing people from pain and is committed to achieving optimal health and well being of his patients.  In his spare time Dr. Wan enjoys playing hockey and a multitude of sports including golf and bodybuilding.  This has fine tuned his appreciation for the human body and the biomechanics involved.
